Science QuizOur science quiz will cover topics 6,7, and 8 from our unit. This includes the solar system, past space travel, satellites, rockets, the life cycle of a star and technology in space. As a reference, the skeleton notes for the unit are attached and past powerpoints can be found from 2 posts ago.
Over the next week and half, leading up tot he winter break, we will looking at colonizing a celestial body in our solar system. This will be accentuated by a quiz this coming Friday and next Friday as well. Notes and information that are embedded into our project are attached to this post as a reference as we study and complete our project. There is an additional topic about the solar system that is not attached (the solar system) but is included in the project and will be posted in whole unit notes soon. This information will be for NEXT WEEK. The information for the quiz this week is in topics 4 and 5 notes that we have already taken and are posted in previous blog posts.
As we move into the final month before the winter break, we will be finalizing our space exploration and surface area units while also starting our scale and transformations unit in math. On Thursday, December 6, we will have our math test for Surface Area. Next week, we will start a project for space exploration and will also be having a topics 4 and 5 quiz for space exploration on Tuesday, December 11. The powerpoint notes for topics 4 and 5 can be found below.
