The following assignment explores how the YCJA is personalized for each young person. Keep in mind that the with YCJA "the consequences that a young person receives after committing a crime should be meaningful for that young person while reinforcing society’s values." Use the four factors to analyze what types of consequences the young person should get and represent the process in a detailed flow chart.

How does the YCJA determine what consequences to impose on a young person who has committed a crime? Using the chart below fill in the four factors which are taken into consideration when imposing consequences on a young person. Then watch the video and record the details of the four factors for each of the characters: Nena, Chase and Logan. Finally, summarize your results and predict the outcomes for each of the three individuals. Should bullying be illegal? The following two assignments are for homework if not completed in class.
