This week we will begin a new project which revolves around images/photography and the importance of them within our world.
Nous sommes presque finis nos presentations.
Nous allons commencer un nouveau unite toute-suite! Keep in mind that the majority of your mark will come from you understanding the aspects of your room. If you simply translate words, you will not be able to properly discuss the elements of your room, or answer any simple questions about them. Use the vocabulary that you already know and understand! You will do better in class, and you will develop your abilities in French more!Have you ever wanted to learn a new language? Or do you want to continue developing the conversational French that you practiced in grade seven? In French as a Second Language 8, students will have the opportunity to learn how to speak, read, and write in French in a project based approach and hands on activities. Some of the topics we will explore are a review from previous years (family, food, animals) and new unique projects focusing on student interest. Term 1 French as a Second Language 8 will be set up as a “Beginner French” type option. Students who excel in French or are seeking a challenge can sign up in French in term 2. Welcome to Introduction to French 8.
This term we have a class of students with a very wide-ranging degree of comfort with the French language. As such, we will be largely working on student-led inquiry projects. This way, each student will be able to display their best, at their level of understanding. |
