Please bring your medical and school forms. 1. Social Vocabulary Test on Wednesday Sept. 27th. The following terms are listed below. The terms highlighted in yellow have been completed. 2. Students need to complete Political Party platform and polices for their party. 3. Students who were absent from class need to complete questions from Priscilla and the Wimps Short Story. Listed below is the story and questions, assignment is due on Monday.
Read pages 16-27. Take notes on how the government is structured and be ready to explain what the Executive and Legislative do.
The first 5 questions of Political Research need to completed for tomorrow. Political Party Research: 1.Who is the leader? 2. Number of seats the party currently has in Parliament. 3. Political Platform: what is the party’s worldview?(worldview will take up as class). 4. History of the Party (background information) 5. Popularity of the Party (how many popular votes did they win?) 6. Where are they on the Political Spectrum? Students are to begin to read, watch or listen to the news with regards to any information dealing with the Municipal Election. I would encourage you to start with at least once a week and begin to increase your time as we get closer to the election.
